blurry dude who'd like more laps here on his own bike
the local pump track is off and growing on it's own.
seems every day or two there is a significant change led by BrettD with some reluctant help from the middle school rippers.
the track was seriously resurrected last Fall by Jessee and Daron and their equipment and dirt.
Their center tabletop jump raised the bar for the regulars and brought back the attention of the serious local BMX riders. One of the best things about that was that it was not my idea. So cool that someone else took it and ran with it.
Brett has ramped that up another level with several new step-ups and jumps and smoother berms. He was still out there working.at 9:30 last night.
After many years of posting signs for April and October workdays and pinging local mtn bikers for help and having no one show up, it's great to see others now taking the initiative themselves. These guys are far more creative than I, and the track and bike community have benefited from that.
I've seen a lot of new BMX bikes and helmets at the track, purchased from the shop down the street, whose owner was pretty skeptical about the track when we were building it. Nice to see him reaping some sales.
